Categories What's on Graduation celebration 🎉 Author Georgie PurseyNo Comments on Graduation celebration 🎉 After approximately three or four years of cheap jager bombs, all nighters in the library, and more submersions into your overdraft than I’ve had baths, Uni is finally over, and while you wait for those all important results (you’ve done fine, trust me!), it’s time to start planning that all important Graduation celebration. When Your Parents Are Paying: The OXO Tower Photo credit: http://www.oxotower.co.uk/events/valentines-oxo-tower-wharf/ My graduation ceremony took place at the Royal Festival Hall on Southbank and so I didn’t have to trotter too far in my silly graduation shoes, my family and I chose to celebrate me actually graduating (it was touch and go for a short while!) at the near by OXO Tower restaurant. An icon of the Southbank, the OXO Tower has both the restaurant and the brasserie, with the former offering a more formal style of fine dining, and the latter a more relaxed dining room where guests can enjoy cocktails and modern British dishes. Both provide stunning and iconic views over our fine city and the perfect photo op! When You Are Paying: Brasserie Zedel Photo credit: https://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/brasserie-zedel So somehow you have a bit of spare cash at the end of your degree and you want to treat yourself and the loved ones who supported you through your studies, rather than putting it towards paying off your loan. That’s nice of you. Still best to take advantage of a well priced set menu because believe me, you’ll be happy for all the spare cash you have when you’re in month 4 of your post-grad job search! Of course, it’s still nice to go somewhere special, so how about trying the Prix Fixe menu at Brasserie Zedel, where you’ll only pay £12.75 per person for 3 courses and get to enjoy your meal in one of London’s most opulent and beautiful dining rooms. When You’re Celebrating With Your Squad: Babble City with Drinki App Photo credit: http://thetaste.ie/wp/prosecco-festival-comes-london/ They say the friends you meet at uni you’ll have for life, and you’ve all been through so much together over the past 3 years that it’s important you have the opportunity to celebrate your achievements together. Unfortunately you’re all probably too broke to go drink Champagne at The Savoy, so how about you all go and grab a free glass of Presecco at Babble in The City using the Drinki App? You’ll be able to start your evening without spending a penny, and then you’re only a stone’s throw away from Shoreditch if you fancy one last squad night out! Download Drinki for free and use the code ATTHETABL to get an extra free drink on us! When You’re Celebrating With Your Other Half: Bob Bob Ricard Photo credit: https://www.bobbobricard.com/ This Soho restaurant is iconic with a glamorous all booth dining room serving a luxury Russian and English menu, or “comfort food fit for a special occasion”, as they say on their website! But what it is known for best is the infamous Push For Champagne buttons at each table, and we all know no-one can resist pushing that button which makes Bob Bob Ricard famous for pouring more champagne than any other restaurant in the country! The ambiance is exciting, chic and romantic and makes this the perfect place to celebrate your achievements with your other half, especially if it’s their treat!
